I was wondering if anyones used this site where you can get single grids in different sizes. My space in my room is awkward and some cubes from sites or to wide. I was going to get the 12inch by 12inch as there to fit under my table which is only 2ft wide. I'm going to be makeing a 2ft widy by 6ft long for 2 piggies. So for 16 to start with would be £32.90 inc VAt. Has anyone had any experiance with this company.

Can't help i'm sorry, but i do hope somebody else has used them. Don't blame you for asking i always prefer to buy from a reputable firm that i know has looked after someone else O0

Never bought from there, sorry. But gosh at the price!

Thank gosh I got mine from Argos! If we all bully them, they should get them back in stock!? ;)

Lol i don't even remember them in Afgos but i didn't have Jessie then. There abt pricey, i'm trying to find cheaper ones but they have to be the 12 by 12 ones to fit in my space and most are bigger than that :-\

I think the argos ones are that?! I think the bullying will work better! ;)

How about getting the wire mesh and making something from it? Will be easier on the pocket? :)

Thats a good idea, i think mesh is in B&Q for £20 or £30 a roll. I've been having a prob finding correx that won't cos to much so think i might have to improvise on something else :D My mam says 6ft is to long for 2 piggies but as they say the bigger the better, i only have one now so Jessie can have 6ft to herself for a while ;D

LOL I guess it depends on the level of DIY you can do or get anyone else to do :D

I don't know of actual correx - plastic sheeting being the same? I know you can get that in B & Q?

Oh really, well i'll have to take a look on Tuesday or my dad he'll no better :D I'm going to find some cheaper cubes though as i want more to build storage underneath for all my piggie stuff and so there not on the floor :)

Just curious, do they NEED to be 12x12? The screwfix ones are 14x14, but you could always overlap the last two grids and cable tie them? oh and I use lino instead of correx/coroplast ;)

It's the width not the length thats the prob. I only have 2ft width space but i never thought of over lapping them, thanks for the idea. Guess i'll not be spending that price :P

What is lino and where can you buy it from, just normal DIY shops?

I got mine years ago from Robert May (mail order). Don't know if they still do them, but they cost loads - about £45 or so. Still worked out cheaper than a cage though, and bigger.

Argos were so cheap - shame they don't still do them. What about Screwfix? do they not do them any more?

Yeah screwfix have them, not so many in a pack. Even if i buy 2 packs though it still is better and cheaper than shop bought cages :)

Have you got your base sorted? What are you going to use? I found that harder to sort than the grids - got a huge seed tray in the end.

Not yet, going to have a look around some DIY stores to see if anythings good if not may have to use my imagination. :)
