Has you guinea ever had an abscess behind eye

Just enquiring if anyone on here has had a guinea pig that had to have its eye removed because an abscess was behind it?
Mine had to have this operation back in Feb. The vets cleaned it out and did a very good job, but they did say there is a chance a abscess might return.
I think this might be happening :(

Has anyone been through this?

I have another thread called ':(' it is about my guinea with the removed eye, has more info with what he is going through at the mo.

Just wanted to ask the above question attract the right person that has been through the same thing.

I cannot find your previous posts,maybe they have been deleted by mistake.

I once had a boar that had an eye removed because of a tumour behind it,have not seen a gp with eye removal because of abcess.What makes you think the abcess is returning?.
