rupert was in a bad state last night with his teeth and his mouth but his morning, he’s struggling to walk and keeps falling over. Weve moved him into a separate cage again (after finally bonding with the others) so that we can monitor his food and water. He ate no hay or pellets last night and didn’t even touch his lettuce from yesterday evening. We set an alarm every hour in the night to give him critical care but he only ever took a little bit and would spit the rest out. I have to leave for work soon as I tried to book the day off last minute but there’s no one to cover for me. I can go in a bit later thought. All I’m hoping is that he’s still with us when we get back. A vet appointment has been booked x
 
Oh so sorry to hear Rupert is in a bad way. We some times have to do work when rather be at home lookin after the ill. Bookin a vets is best.
He's at home with comfort smell and his piggie family He's in our thoughts big time.

He’s completely limp now. He’s breathing but I can tell he’s struggling x

You really have tried so hard for him, but sometimes it still isn't enough.
Just keep him warm and quiet and comfortable, and let him know you are there.

We have a vets appointment or in an hours time but it’s seeming very unlikely he will make it until then. I have everything crossed that he will though x

Can you get him there sooner? I am so sorry, worth ringing them up telling them it is an emergency. They may be able to fit you in. I am really sorry

We rang and they were amazing. They got us in as soon as we walked grouch the door. Sadly though, he passed during his examination.

Rip Rupert. You were a gorgeous piggie. You will never be forgotten. You’re already missed by your human and piggie family. We hope you’re popcorning to your hearts content over the rainbow bridge and that you’re eating all the lettuce and carrots you desire. We love you ❤️
