Am wondering if the current batch is a different texture, I know this can happen with the Vitakraft. Mine are being picky with them at the moment too when they usually love them. Of course Fuzzy is still eating them :)

probably is different now i've bought it! :)) it's probably me aswell, i get over anxious with things. maybe we should all send ours for fuzzy :))

I am trying my girls with Bunny today. I just had a bag delivered.:D I think 6 of my 7 have eaten one pellet. There does not seem to be a mad rush for a second one. :td:
It says that they are made from plants that grow naturally in South America where piggies come from - but how many piggies know what plants grow there? :hmm:

:)) good point! i think benjie would definitely eat more than one. anything food basically he will eat :)) mollie i think wouldn't eat many but more because she's not really that into pellets anyway :)

Mine wouldn't touch these bunny pellets, or the Vitakraft ones. I tried Harringtons recently but I was unhappy about the amount of calcium on the fleeces so I've stopped feeding that. I don't know why I waste my money trying stuff.

fussy piggies :)) funny how we go through all this and most exotics vets recommend feeding no pellets anyway! (for healthy piggies on a varied diet)

it's taken me months to wean benjie off harringtons. i bought him a bag when he got here as that was the food he was used to. but he loved them too much! i always think it's best to give a pellet they like/tolerate, but don't love. that way they eat a few but don't crave them (which alot do because of the sugar)

if you're worried about them having none, maybe stick with the harringtons for now but reduce the amount if it's over 1/8 of a cup?

@thingsican - if you ask on here, i'm sure someone would be happy to send you a sample of some pellets. i have oxbow here at the moment so if you ever want to try those then let me know and i'll send you some to try. saves you buying a whole bag. :)

:D I am still giving my girls a few Bunny pellets every day. They seem to be more popular with my three older girls than with the four younger ones. The old girls have usually eaten all of their few pellets by the end of the day, where-as the young ones have maybe eaten just one or two. Before I bought a bag of Bunny, I looked on the Net to see if they were available anywhere else in smaller quantities. Nope! Only Zooplus have them and the 4 kg bag is the smallest. Such a waste of money if your piggies don't eat them. :td:

If there is anyone who would like to try Bunny pellets, I can spare maybe a kilo or so. Just PM me your address.
