have oxbow changed their cavy cusine/essentials adult pellets?

i got a new bag the other day and ches and maisie won't eat them. :{ they don't smell off or anything, but i think they do smell 'stronger' than normal? :{

has anyone else noticed a difference?
 
i've emailed hayexperts and oxbow to ask if they know. i've ordered another bag aswell incase this lot are stale and i can't tell but the piggies can. lets see if they eat the next lot!
 
i was told that it could just be the slight variation between bags but i got the new bag today and they ate them straight away. so maybe they could detect something wrong with the others which i couldn't notice.
 
How strange. I bought a bag just before Christmas. I opened it today and they're happily munching away on it at this very second!

maybe they were tricking me and trying to get me to buy extra! lol. i threw the other bag, they could obviously sense something wasn't right with them. least they are eating the new lot :)
