New Born Pup
Hi All,
I have officially been a piggie dad for one month now, i never thought id see so much poop in my life lol, as stated in one of my previous posts my two baby girls were fighting quite a lot early on,
I decided to add a third girl who was a bit older and bigger to see if it would help (i upgraded from a 2x5 to a 3x6) and it did help!! She was kind of the mediator, Just a couple of days after i added the third girl the other two stopped fighting and now all three of them seem to be best friends and havnt see a single fight for a couple of weeks, they love cuddling with each other.
I have kept the same routine every day and have finally seem some rewarding sings, the girls get excited and popcorn when they hear the treat bag and run to the specific grid where i drop the treats in and are now taking them from my hand !! So rewarding to see, they also popcorn like CRAZY when they see me putting fresh hay in and all three of them run at the before I'm even done putting it in.
They still get scared of me and hide, but definitely some major improvements such as coming up to my hand and sniffing me while I'm spot cleaning, taking treats from my hand, they are also a lot more comfortable when i hold them and hand feed veggies they no longer shake in fear, its so good to see and makes me so excited to see whats to more to come !
Would 3 bonded girls be classified as a herd ?
And do you think these are signs that they have settled in ?
Cheers
Lilly, Millie and Tilly
