Hawthorn?

Hi all,

My friend has chinchillas and she mentioned that they liked to eat hawthorn.

We have a hawthorn growing in the garden, but as google can't give me a definitve answer, I thought I'd better ask you lovely lot if the piggles can eat it?

My friends chins eat the lot (she obviously removes the thorns for them first) so I figure pigs may like the twigs and leaves too?

What do you think - is it safe for them?

if your sure its hawthorn then yes its fine, along with buddlia and mile a minute vine
