Hay Allergies

I have hay allergies but I don’t really mind. I wanted to know when do hay allergies bother you guys.

I’m working on a system to reduce allergies on a hay feeder I’m home brewing. I have many ideas and I would like to understand everyone’s struggles with allergies please post. I’m hoping if I’m successful maybe there will be less surrender Guinea pigs.

It's important pigs can bury into hay. I make sure I wash my hands straight after touching hay. I get itchy skin and can wheeze.

I had allergies when I first got the piggies a few years ago and had never been near Timothy hay prior to that. It's has since disappeared and I can't explain it I’m perfectly fine with all hay now!
