Hay Allergy And Mites

I think I'm allergic to the g pigs hay plus since I've been using a new hay from an eequestrian shop (is much cheaper) its been worse and the gpigs constantly have mites.

Does anyone else suffer with these problems?

Is it possible to change your brand? some of the imported hay tends to be better as it is sterile so it can be shipped over so there are no bugs in it. Also people can be allergic to one type of hay and not others so it is worth trying a few different types. I buy my hay from The Hay experts and usually get Oxbow or Alfalfa King. Others on here buy from Hay for Pets. I do spend a lot on hay but feed minimal pellets and they only have a small amount of veg twice a day.

Sorry to hear that your suffering from allergies and having trouble with mites but I think there was a smiliar post yesterday as far as allergies go which may help you.
