My pig has had URI for seven weeks so I'm wondering if it could actually be an allergy - I'm wondering what alternative to hay could I give a Guinea pig who was allergic to hay?
Also no matter what brand I give my pigs, they don't seem to eat much hay after the first two days of a different brand. So really not sure what to do about that...

The brand 'dust free hay' is very good. I have just started buying their soft hay and Timothy hay. One of my pigs seems to be affected by the dust in normal hay.

Toast reacts badly to normal "dust extracted hay". She had URI symptoms for weeks until I changed hay. The only one I've found to actually be dust free is Dust Free Hay. They do soft, stalky and American timothy hay. It really is dust free and Toast doesn't make the hooting sound anymore :)

Thank you so much! I'll try it, spent over £250 on vet bills over the past 7 weeks for URI that he potentially might not even have, they want to refer him to a specialist which means a lot more money, I thought it would be best to explore another option first. So, I'll definitely try it, thank you again :)
