well i wasnt sure where to post this but i noticed with Roo that he often gets hay and stuff sucked into his bum :-\ wasnt sure how to word that lol i sat a few days ago pulling hay out of his bum and i just wondered if this could cause problems for them? if so how can i prevent things getting sucked up in there :-\

i hope my post makes sense i wasnt sure how to word it lol

i have this problem with munchie dont think theres any ay to avoid it. i just give him a good clean up often in his bum area ;D

Cid is the same, i think hes resigned to the fact and doesnt struggle when having a clean out...well for a couple of minutes ;D

Chewy is the same, I check him every day and do the needful as required. He don't always like it but think he is getting used to it now ::)

Yep, I regularly pull hay out of Damon's bottom. Alex doesnt seem to get it though, and neither do any of the girls.

I have never had to do it to a guinea pig, but my Corey Cat eats grass and I have to do the same and once after a neighbour gave him milk, I had to wet wipe his bum and hind legs >:(

glad Roos not the only one lol i nearly died the other day when i watched him run across his cage dragging a big clump of hay along with him as it was like half in half out of his bum lol

poor little roo hes deteriating now poor boy think i may have to make 'the decision' after the new year :'(

I'm sure you'll make the right decision at the right time - it's never easy but better than to let them suffer or e in pain and hurting. Good luck and be brave O0
