Hi, last Sunday i had to rush my skinny werewolf boy to the vets as woke up to find his eye ball cloudy and eyelids red and inflamed. He'd managed to get a strand of hay wedged in hg7gs eye so vet put him on drops. His eyes improved but is still runny so il be taking him back to vets. Is this a commen injury with guineapigs? X

Yes, I think hay-related injuries are fairly common.

My Little Pig spent the day at the vets last week and the nurse watched him spear himself on a strand of hay and give himself a nose bleed!

I too have also had to pull out some hay from my piggies eyes, it is very common indeed! It doesn't help that Dottie has her head right in the hay every time I try to fill up the racks, it always falls all over her head and no matter how much I try to block her eyes she head butts me out of the way to get to it :))

Aww, I was just thinking about Little Pig! How is he? Are the boys bonded now? Everything has been perfect with Finley and the girls since they have all lived together, and Fin is now much happier x)
