Hi everyone, I've been ordering in some extra hay so I thought I would just share what supplies and delivery are looking like!
I ordered a 3 pack of Pillow Wad meadow on Tuesday from Amazon sold by Tool and Country Supplies, and it was delivered today!
I also ordered some from Haybox on Tuesday and they can deliver next Monday
But the Science Selective Timothy from Amazon wont be delivered for 2 weeks...
Thought it might be useful if we can share where to get online hay right now and how long delivery is taking!

I’m not a fan of Pets at home but they are doing a meadow/Timothy hay mix for £4 . It sounds hypocritical I know but my boys come first.

We’ve got lots of hay for now, I don’t want to run out so have bought a little more than usual, but not an abundance

I will add that I ordered hay two(?) weeks show that never arrived though

I ordered from Timothy hay on...Wednesday or yesterday. They’re running behind at the moment.

I buy my hay in 20kg bales from a trader on eBay. It is meadow hay from their farm, no chemicals used.
I ordered Tuesday and it arrived today.

Try dust free hay also good stockists

I ordered on Tuesday from The Hay Experts, it was delivered yesterday. I got their own brand Timothy hay, which is still in stock, and a small bag of oxbow orchard grass , the last of that. They told me they had more due in, but it isn't in yet. They still have oxbow timothy hay in stock but selective and some other brands of Timothy are out.
Delivery is usually pretty quick, on stock items.

I just noticed while browsing their website, that the Hay Experts have a "Rescues Wishlist" page, which includes some of the rescues known to forum members (eg Tiny Paws, Maria's, Bobtails, Burrowed Hearts and Bristol Rabbit Rescue). Maybe folks needing to buy hay online could avoid using a certain tax-avoiding faceless online market place, and buy their hay here including an item for a rescue ...

I usually buy mine from B&M as its super local..But they have had nothing in for the past week.... I had tor return a bag of their meadow hay as it was damp inside and they had no stock to replace it so they gave me a credit note (which has been spent on chocolate - don't judge :lol!: ) but I managed to get a small meadow hay from The Range and P@Home.... I had already got some nice Timothy Hay from The Range....

I got a scare last night when I ordered my next box of Small Pet Select 2nd cut timothy hay from Amazon, and the order said the expected delivery date was April 21. Yikes! My boys will got through a 10 lb box in less than a month, so I might have had to look for alternatives, even (gulp!) pet store hay. Fortunately I just got a notification that the box has been shipped. Delivery is slower than usual because of the craziness, but it is scheduled for Friday. Whew!

I had an email from the Hay Experts earlier to say that they were back in stock with Oxbow Orchard Hay.
I jumped online and have just ordered 3 bags. I seem to get through it quite fast, though much of it looks like it ends up on the floor of the cage then thrown away ... little wastrels, don't they know it's in short supply?! :fog:

A lot of other hays and nibbles seemd to still be out of stock, though they did have Alfalfa King Timothy Hay (1.8kg) and Oat Wheat and Barley Hay (massive bags/boxes).
