These hay things are dangerous they can get a paw caught, also hay racks discourage natural foraging your best just to throw hay all over there cage and ditch trying to keep it clean. It will be better for your pigs because it encourages them to eat more hay which is good for your pigs teeth. They also enjoy it much more.

Nothing like eating in your bed, my pigs testimonial. :(|)

yeah i used to have three of four hay racks in the pigs' old hutch, but since changing to a new one i started using a corner toiley tray that i'd tried (unsuccessfully!) to get them to wee and poo in. i now just throw a load of hay in there and clean it out every few days. all the pigs gather round it to eat, and also like to sleep in there. i find it's the best way to keep it contained to a degree, but also means they can dig around til their hearts are content. xx

My grils have got a hay cube but I always end up getting hay out for them and throwing it on their floor because I feel that they cant get enough hay out of the cube when its not bursting full-its nice too watch them forage too. :)

I use the cage things used for bird suet!
