I just found my hay feeder and put it on my pig's cage, but it doesn't look like she can get any hay/grass out. I looked on google to see how they have them positioned on there, and I have it exactly like in the pictures, but I'm worried that she won't be able to grab at the gass and pull it through. I had a plastic one hanging on the outside of the cage with the grass in between the feeder and cage. There are a few strands hanging in the cage but how does she get the rest? Thanks

If I put it on the inside of the cage, she won't be ale to get any of it. My feeder is plastic and i can't see how she would get at the hay if it was on the inside.

hmm I use those hanging balls... maybe try one of those?
Mine never have any problems getting their hay out of them.

I recommend placing the hay in a cardboard box that you can empty and dispose if easily as its easy for your piggy to eat their hay but allows you to replace the box as they will tend to go toilet in it
