Hay for Pets good quality?

I was thinking of buying their Timothy & Rye hay for my two Guinea Pigs. Is their hay good quality or should I buy somewhere else? How green is their hay because I like my Guinea's to have fresh hay. Also I was thinking of buying some of their Meadow Hay for bedding, is their Meadow Hay good for bedding?

I've just had a delivery of their Timothy & Rye, Meadow and Ings hay.

It's lovely hay, very long strands, good for piggie teeth.

To be honest I like the meadow hay better, its got that lovely sweet smell to it. The pigs love them all.

Well I'm going to order a sample so I'll see which one I like the best but that thread makes it sound like Hay for Pets has some good quality hay!

Wow 18! I have two so I guess the largest bag will last me ages thankfully!

I always buy the bags of burgess excel hay.. dandelion and marigold hay.
my 2 piggies love it.. eating hay of course..

bedding hay we buy the large bags of meadow hay from DOBBY MANN
this is long hay which the pigs love to chew and burrow in..

I literally got my first order from them today, my boys were on P@H but this hay is much longer so it wares their teeth down more effectively and the smell is amazing - just like grass (not a dry stuffy smell like store bought).

I didn't get a sample as i thought i'd take the risk and my boys love it! I put it on top of their old hay and they will only eat the new stuff. Mine came and it's a little sharp but i'm not at all worried by it.

I got the samples and a 4kg bag of meadow. Have to say i think the timothy hay went down the best. Ings was nice also.

Is the Meadow hay meant to be soft? Cant decide if its a bit damp.?/

Cant say the pigs love it - seem to be nibbling at it. Got 4kg bag as well:...

Does smell nice though mallethead

If you scroll to the bottom there is a pic of the 9 kg bag so basically you're getting just under double that.
Bear in mind that's Timothy Hay so may look different to the bag you're getting (colour wise).
