Just had a delivery of Hay for Pets Meadow Hay . Thought I'd give a bit to my trio to make sure it is Ok ...

I found they love the meadow hay as well. I got the Ings last time and was not as impressed - it has loads of hard 'sticks' in it that I have had to pick out because I didn't want a piggy to end up with a hay poke. I will be going back to meadow hay next time.

My bag of Ings has been the same. Weird sticks with seeds stuck to them.

@PiggieOwner glad your piggies like the meadow hay :D
 
Buns turned their noses up at the meadow hay and the ings but seem to quite like the timothy and rye whereas the piggies will dive into any of them, lol.

They look like they are loving it :))

I've got a bag of ings too as it has been highly recommended by some forum members. Agree that there are a load of things that look like sticks but my trio like the ings. I put some in open areas but wouldn't put it anywhere where thy may use it as bedding

I use the big bags for bedding and get smaller bags of Timothy from pet shops for their hay rack so will defo have to go back to hay for pets meadow hay which is lovely and soft.
 
I just had a look on hay for pets website as I hadn't heard of them before, I am assuming and from the look of the pics the hay is teh same sort of hay that some independent pet shops stock from our local farms? am I right or is there much difference?
