I ordered from Hay for Pets for the first time on the 23rd of September and decided to let everyone know my experience since there was a thread about hay on the same day.

Ordered the 9.5kg bag of Ings hay for £16.00 and paid through paypal (very easy). Received an email from DispatchBay yesterday saying it was on its way. This email contained the tracking number which is always a plus! They hay arrived around 10 minutes ago. It comes in a clear plastic bag which is cable tied at the top. It is also a nice green colour. I have taken a photo of it next to a 2 litre bottle and another 1kg bag of hay for comparison. Not sure if the colour will show up well but it's green!

Will post a comment on how well the hay goes down once I open it :)

Comparison hay colour plus Kasper.

They love it! It smells lovely too :)

Looks great. My piggies have the meadow hay and my rabbits have the Timothy & rye hay. Which hay type did you buy? It's great value for money.

I got the Ings hay and might try the Timothy next time. They are still loving it!

Ive just tried googling Ings Hay and cant find much info. What kind of hay is it? Is it one you can feed as much as you want or is it a special hay to use every now and again? I am currently having hay 'issues' having been advised to switch from meadow to Timothy. I have bought the Burgess Herbage with timothy hay, dandilion and marigold thinking that sounded yummy but now realise the dandelions may not be suitable every day.. Is Timothy and Rye a daily use one? I know Timothy is completely fine but what about rye? Is that expecially high or low in anything? I'm loving the look of Hay for Pets! 2.5kg for £10 looks about the most reasonable ive come across including postage i think and shipping from UK is fab.

I've used the Ings hay for ages now. But unfortunatly I'm not very impressed with my latest batch. It's very green and smells a bit 'chemicaly' which is unusual as it's usually great. Piggies still love it, but it isn't half stinking out my room!

Thanks for the pictures, it’s great to see it compared to something and get to grips with how big the size is!
