Just bought my first bag of Ings hay in months. Thought I would give it a try again but cant help thinking the quality and lovely fresh sweet smell is just not the same as it used to be. Anyone else noticed this or is it just me ?

:D My last bag of Ings hay had lots of really long thick stalks in (other plants, not just hay) , which I pulled out as they would do a lot of damage if one went in an eye. The new bag that I got yesterday looks better. It does not smell too bad. Seems quite clean.

Hi,

I just had a bag as well but mine seems fine, nice smell looks fresh.

One of the ladies from hay for pets called me the other day in regards to a delivery (driver was a bit rubbish). They like it if you give them feedback on the hay and to let them know if it's been ok or not :)

my latest bag was half great and half not as good as normal. also got some soft meadow for the first time in a while and that was good quality this time :)

My last delivery was good. I once had a poor batch and let hay 4 pets know straight away - it was replaced free of charge

It's been a while since I bought the ings as I disliked all the twigs however I recently bought a new bag of meadow hay and it's beautiful - soft, green and deliciously smelly! I would quite happily crawl into it myself! The Timothy and rye is also pretty nice this time.

It was more of a treat as it's been a while. I've got to say though the farm bales I get from Lizard farm they love that and as for the bunnies they eat a ridiculous amount of hay x
