I wasn't sure whether to put this in feed or health but i thought i'd stick it here haha.

My piggy Chester, has had hay stuck between his two front teeth on 3 separate occasions now, within the last month or so, i was just wondering if anyone has had similar problems?

It doesn't happen to my other pig, i've always used the same hay brand, just the large bale from Jollyes pet shop, however i have seen a slight dip in quality recently, so it could be that.

He doesn't panic too much he's quite a calm piggy but it can wake me up, i just hear him overly chewing and it just sounds really sloppy and then when i get up i just find him with hay hanging out his mouth, while he tries to just chew it out, it's usually easy to just pull out kind of a case of pulling it down and out that usually does the trick but i don't know if it's 'normal' or something i should be concerned about? I spoke to one of my vets but he was a bit unsure of how to treat it, if it really needs treating at all, it isn't harming him exactly.

Thanks :)

My piggy Ed would do this every so often and I'd have to gently pull it out, once it was removed he was fine. His front teeth were fine other than that. He seemed to do it with all sorts of hay.
I wasn't sure if this happen to anyone else.

Maybe someone else will know more about this.

Kasper gets little bits of hay stuck in his front teeth that are too small for me to remove but they seem to go away themselves. I thought I was the only one noticing this.

Haha, Chester may get small bits stuck too, i only ever see larger bits hanging out of his mouth flying around while he tries his hardest to eat it! As soon as i remove it he just wants to eat the piece out of my hand again! I'm glad it's not just me, i was worried i've have to go shopping for piggy braces!
