Hay has arrived! yum!

The oxbow orchard grass has finally arrived! It smells gorgeous :))
Looks like its a big hit, the boys loooove it!
We are definitely converted now!







Is it a bit weird that i want to try it? rolleyes
 
I wanted to try it too when i had mine.

I bet the pigs will love it and will soon be wheeking for more. :))
 
Mine go mad for the oxbow timothy and orchard grass. Its lovely and green isnt it?

My 4kg pack has lasted me ages! :) I do luckily only have two piggys.
 
haha... nice piggy mummy... I'm surprised you have to wake your pigs, any slight movement even when I'm still in bed they will wheek loudly at me "feed me"...

I'm glad you got it before you went back to work :)) x
 
Wow 10, what size did you get? It maybe cheaper to bulk buy the timothy from the hay experts if you carry on using it, i know i am when the 4kg is gone. :)

I dont think they do the 22kg in the orchard grass. :(

Its because i'm here so much now i think, and quiet, they forget i'm here :) They wheek as soon as i come downstairs, then once they're fed, they fall into a morning slumber, all full up! haha.

I'm quite enjoying not working, don't really want to go back! trying to persuade the OH what a good housewife i'll be :(|)
 
SPH do 22kg of Orchard grass and it's lasting my 10 ages and ages. I have a 22kg box of each - takes up a fair bit of room though.

I don't use it for bedding hay though I use cheap bedding hay and put that in the racks.

I felt the same when my Oxbow came - as did my daughter she kept asking if humans can eat hay. It's good stuff! :(|):(|)

I'm still enjoying the uneplooyment although, I have started looking hopefully have a job soon! :).

Thanks for letting me know Lisa that sph do large boxes of orchard grass. I shall keep my eye open for when i need to do a order next. :))
 
No worries hun! If you've got the room it's very much worth the money it's such alot of hay.
