For an indoor set up whats best to put hay in. My buns have plastic carrier bag holders but my piggys have it in tge fkoir of their hutches to munch and burrow in but this would be a bit messy for indoors

I just place hay on the floor so they can play with it as well as eat it. It can get messy but it makes them happy.

I just cover their shavings with a pile of hay, keeps them happy and encourages them to keep eating. I have 2 newly bonded boars in a 120cm cage so I dont use a hay rack so neither get territorial over it and prevent the other getting hay.

I just do big piles of hay and keep a dust pan and brush handy! I know some people use hayballs but I would imagine that you would need one per piggy to prevernt squabbling?

I have bent a c&c grid to make a hay rack.Mine have litter trays with shavings and hay on top

I used to have hay racks but knocked that on the head recently purely because no matter what I put behind them hay would fall and build up behind the cage, which doesn't sound bad but it is when u have a two storey c&c that's difficult to move!

So now I get a box, cut an arch in each side, up turn it and fill it with hay. I get the boxes from
work in abundance as tgeyre printer paper boxes but each box lasts a few weeks anyway! I tried rabbit litter trays but they kept peeing in them but for some reason they don't pee in the card boxes?!
