Hi, just looking for some advice.
Mylo had a hay piece stuck in his eye. His eye was watery. I managed to get the hay out. It looks mostly ok. He is just squinting it from time to time, no cloudiness or discharge and he looks ok in himself(begging for treats, eating...), so i am not sure if this would need a vet visit today and mine had closed already.
He looks mostly ok now, but I am scared he might get worse.
The plan for now is to monitor and if something looks off to get him seen sooner, but i don't know, anything else to look out for other than cloudiness and discharge?
His cage was deep cleaned and I try to keep his hay at a lower level to avoid further irritation. The little stinker
started to love to shove his face in the hay
, which is how he got himself in this situation. I put some cc in the cage too just to boost him a bit as he likes it.
Is there something else I can do in the meantime or look out for?
