got the boys out this evening for some floor time, and my daughter noticed something underneath liquorice, so we turned him over and he had a piece of hay stuck in his willy! so being very gentle i VERY slowly pulled it, and a long piece came out, he didnt really make any fuss, probably a relief for him, has anybody else on here had this happen? i will check regularly in future.

Yep. Hay and hair. Plus megazorb in their butt! Worst smell ever cleaning a boars butt. Wish mine would stop storing stuff in theirs!

:)):)) thought it was just mine! stinky boys eh? the human version are no better:))

It's definitely worth checking regularly to see if any bits are poking out! Mine are always getting bits of hay stuck and I imagine it must hurt a lot! Being generally 'low slung' makes piggy boars very prone to this kind of thing, poor little fellas! :)

Typical boars I'm afraid! I'm sure this won't be the last time you have to remove something from your lads' sensitive parts. I had to give one of my long haired boars a tummy/privates trim last night as I noticed that he is somehow getting his own tummy hair into his bits and it's getting stuck. Lovely job but it appears to have done the trick!

Boars... rolleyes

Oh yes, some boys are forever gettin objects in the rear end. In regards to the hay, once my boy mimsi had blood in his urine and when I checked him he had a large piece of hay wrapeed aorund the penis, I gently removed it. Checking their anus is important as well. like others I have found bits of megazorb up there and once a small piece of carrot. My boys both get regular bum and penis checks and dont mind it now...good luck.

boars tend to be little grots! rolleyes but they're sooooo adorable x)
I'm so glad you noticed it so quickly :) well done to your daughter xx>>>

oooh that does sound painful! so is it just boys that get things stuck in their bums? honestly the things we have to do............ my daughter is a star with them, and although she was nt keen on removing the hay, got a pat on the back for spotting it!

My boys just love hoovering hay up their butts - Lentil esp loves to keep a hay supply for later
