New Born Pup
My partner and I were just congratulating each other on having a relatively cheap few days away. And then we arrived home to find this one had managed to get a piece of hay thoroughly lodged in his eye. We tried flushing with water and coaxing it out ourselves to no avail. So, a trip to the vets and £60 later, he's on Metacam and Isathal eye drops for a few days at least.
He's got two ulcerations and he's been squinting a lot so it's obviously sore bless him! The "pigsitter" called in on them this morning and didn't notice anything wrong so we're not sure how long it had been in there but luckily, he seems okay in himself and the eye's starting to look better already!
Plus, the vet gave him a check over whilst he was there and said there were no other issues and he's a "perfect" weight which is always good to hear!
