Hay Question

Probably a stupid question but better safe than sorry :red

My girls have been on cheap hay since I got them but I have now got them Oxbow Timothy Hay and Burgess Timothy with herbs (I'm super excited :)))

Can I just change them straight over or do I need to introduce it more slowly?

I think it is safe enough just to change right over that's what I do with mine! Hay is just dried grass really but I will be corrected if I'm wrong :).
 
i've just changed my boys hay & had no problems with the change over in fact they eat more of the new hay xx
 
Well the cage is finally clean and the girlies are back in and I must say I think they approve...

Poor Poppy still hasn't worked out the Oxbow is in the hay mangers too, bless her, she's not the brightest!
 
Adleast she has the tiolet roll all to herself it does look like a hit what was the other hay you got?

Might I add they are stunning x), what age are they now?

Also were did you get the fleece?

Why thank you Joanne, I will pass the compliment on to them :))

I got the Oxbow, the Burgess herby stuff, and Natures Best for the litter tray.

They are just over 6 months now. Fleece is good old Primark for a fiver :) I do like a bargain!
 
I like the fleece I do think it suites the girls :)... Can feel some fleece shopping coming on! :))
Is that another Fleece you have under the armchair do you use 2?
 
I do need another fleece as these ones are about 8 inches too short so I put an offcut at the end, then a folded up smaller one under their beds as they are now in the habit of hanging their backsides off the end of the bed to pee, mucky girls :)). That way I can change that one bit every day and keep it all a bit fresher for them.
