hay racks

Good or bad? I've never heard a complaint about that. I'd say hay racks are just fine. If you have a C&C cage, you can use a grid and just bend it in half and then attach it to your cage as a homemade rack. In my own experience, I've just had the hay right in their cage with no hay rack. They love to burrow in it while they eat and it makes them so excited, haha :) It just depends on what you want to do and what works out :) Hope I helped.

To me, hay racks are a great idea, they keep they hay clean. There are metal racks, and some people have made fabric racks that resemble hay bags that horses have.

guineapiggea i,m wicked so they are going in a hutch in the shed lol no i,m not wicked really
they will be loved just as much as the ones indoors i have been told that they can jump in them and could brake a leg
hence why i have asked many thanks for taking the time to reply x

If you mount the hay rack on the outside of the cage they wont be able to jump in so no injuries but will be able to pull the hay throught the bars.
