I just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for good quality hay that is quite cheap and comes in large bags. I have 4 male piggies and they get through about 2 medium bags of hay every 3-4 weeks and it gets quite expensive. They pee and poo on most of it and then wont eat it. It is in a hay rack but they pull it all out, even though i have tried putting it higher they still do. Thanks Poppy :)

if you can get decent farm hay then that would be the very cheapest way.

hay for pets are the best cost wise for big bags online - Hay for Pets supply best quality Hay - organically grown hay, and straw for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, chinchillas and other animals - Hay for Pets

and for timothy hay, this is a good site - Timothy Hay | Rabbit Hay Supplies UK

and hayexperts do alot of different hays aswell - Natural Hays Rabbit Supplies | The Hay Experts

Thanks for the help! Will definitely check these out :)

Burgess Excel is the best one I find, dust is extracted too. There is a dandelion and marigold hay series they do and my piggies love it. Normal Burgess Excel Timothy hay is £5 and the dandelion one is £6 (usual prices at Pets at Home)

I by some in Morrison's when I see it, its £1.50 for about 1.5kg & smells delicious, my lot got crazy for it :-) I've also just started buying natures own hay -( naturesownpets.co.UK) their xl bales are about 4kg and are £3.99 bale. Smell great too.
