Hay storage bale

I have indoor guinea pigs and buy my hay by the bale. I store it in a hay bag. Usually I store it in a hay bag in my shed. However my shed needs replacing and now I store it in my garage. I try not to make a mess when I take hay and put it in my collapsible garden bin. I need a better way to store a hay bale outside and not in a shed as it makes a mess.

Hay needs to be stored in a dry space - either a shed, garage or other watertight garden storage unit.
There is always going to be some mess involved when moving hay though, no matter where store it

I had one of these in my garden ( not for hay) so maybe you could consider that ? It worked to keep everything dry but it might not be rodent proof
