so i was playing with my pigs and then one of my pigs, gus, starts rapidly sneezing. i take him out of the cage and find a piece of hay stuck in his nose. i try to get it out, but it breaks when i pull it. he is still sneezing a lot and i don’t know what to do. should i just wait or should i take him to the vet? it’s late at night so i wouldn’t be able to take him until tomorrow.

He really needs to see a vet to have the hay removed fully, and also check it hasn't caused any damage.
As long as he is breathing normally and eating and drinking it is fine to wait until the morning, but please call your vet first thing and say he needs to be seen urgently.
The problem is that if the hay has caused a small cut this may result in swelling of the nasal passages (which are very small) and a breathing problem, which then becomes a life and death emergency.
Hopefully a quick trip to the vet will sort the problem.
