Hay tunnels/cubes - awful quality recently...

Does anyone else buy the rosewood naturals (or woodlands from pets at home) hay tunnels and hay cubes for their piggies? I’ve been buying them for years and in the past few months the quality has been AWFUL. Like covered in a thin layer of dust rather than a nice layer of hay! I’ve stopped buying them as the last one was making the piggies sneeze because of all of the dust and I had to take it away from them :( Has anyone else noticed the same thing or have I just been unlucky!?
 
That doesn't sound good. I like the hay cubes but haven't bought any for a while, I will take a look next time I visit a pet shop.
 
I haven't bought a haycube in a while but did purchase a carrot cottage from Wilko the other day. Haven't given it to the piggies yet as the last one got to the boat/toilet stage today so will be binned tomorrow. It certainly looks good. Proper hay on the outside and a nice carrot top on the roof.

That sounds good - looks like I’ll be taking a trip to wilko at the weekend :D
 
I haven’t been able to get the hay cubes for a while. I wonder if they are having supply issues.

Hay cubes have been out of stock on Amazon for months but apparently they are back, and will be included in my subscribe and save order early next week- I'll see what the quality is like and report back!

That’s good to hear as my Amazon subscribe and save orders for them have been cancelled for months.
 
Haycube update: Amazon brought me 2 haycubes today that look very good quality, nice thick hay coating and you can see there are lots of dried marigolds inside!

I was more excited though to find that my multipack of Chika's spicy nut selection came with a free hippo sized play box :)
