Guinea pig slave
Senior Guinea Pig
On the way back from the vets we use last week, decided to stop at a little family owned farm shop to have a look around (always searching for nice hay etc.
They had bags larger than a bin liner for £4 which was impressive and freshly cut a few days previously so launched a bag into the car. The piggies love it so yesterday went back for more.
The owner remembered us and gave us a large bag and then asked us to wait a few minutes and came back with half a bale of the most beautiful stalky green and fresh hay I've ever smelled. Tired of poor supplies online and in shops and concerned the piggies weren't having a good nom on the soft thin stuff we've been sent so has cost us extra to buy Timothy and Burgess Forage etc.
Total cost...= £4 for the lot so anyone in/around the W. Midlands, check out Albrighton Feeds
They do piggy/rabbit food as well as other pet foods and have said they can order anything we need so we're pleased we popped in there now (and the piggies aren't complaining either
