Hi! I’ve been buying 20-40lbs bulk of hay from smallpetselect and it has been working out for about a year. I heard there are much cheaper ways and places to get hay, but i spend $50 for 35-40 lbs all the time. I’m looking for a website/ place that sells good quality but cheaper hay. Can anyone help me out?

@natalieheep Many people use farm shops. It might be worth looking to see if there is a farm nearby that could sell you some.

a lot of people use hay and straw .com and timothy hay .co .uk

sorry if i got those wrong but i think they’re right apart from the .coms and stuff so best try .com and .co.uk on both to see

Whereabouts are you?

I have used both the above sites mentioned by @bonnieandpoppy and have been very happy with the quality and price of their hay but obviously these are UK companies

I use farm bought hay when I can but you may have to search around for good quality bales.

I go to get my hay from the farm too. The stuff I get is lovely and fresh and green. I pay £5 per bale.

I'm assuming that since you're talking in dollars, you're not in the UK. As such, all I could suggest is either farms or searching online for a hay supplier who delivers. I know a lot of Timothy hay comes from the states, so there should be something.
