Adult Guinea Pig
Guys, a quick warning.
I keep my hay (Oxbow Orchard Grass) according to the instructions listed on Guinea Lynx. It's stored inside in a ventilated area, removed from the bag and kept in the box it arrived in with holes punched into it for added circulation to prevent it from becoming mouldy.
When I get to the end of one box I mix my hay (high quality with a lower quality) and keep it in the box. When lifting up the orchard grass (which I do not separate) I found it was damp. {:|
If you store your hay inside and you've found the weather to be sticky inside as well as outside, might I suggest that you give your hay box a quick flip to make sure everything's well underneath.
Dampness, if left, will make your hay mouldy and can make your piggies sick.
