Where is the best place to buy good hay thats also value for money? Also wheres a good place to buy good pellets thats value for money.

I think as a general rule you get what you pay for.

I do agree, hay for pets is great value for money, i buy a 9.5kg bag every other week for £16.

As for pellets, if you want a good quality then you are likely to pay more for it. Its personal opinion, but Burgess, Wagg pellets and science selective are all very good quality products for piggies. And no need to overfeed on them (unless you have a growing pig).

I'm another for Hay for Pets, except I don't think our postie was too happy with the big bag of hay stinking his van out.

I like the website www.pet-supermarket.co.uk

I order a lot of my stuff from there, especially bulky things like dog food and pig food, as they have a free delivery option. It's slightly slower, but works out cheaper. Never had any problems with them either :)

Do you know which courier company they use Amanda? I work during the day, so I need to be able to collect from a local depot.

I don't know, sorry! I get it delivered to work because there's always someone there...and it's rarely me! :))

Hay for Pets is the best option. Their meadow hay is lovely, green and fresh. The 1.8 kg bag costs £9 including p&p and lasts my two girls around a month, they love it!
