it's more than likely an eye injury of some sort - would you be able to get her to a vet today ? Eye injuries should really be seen straight away .

last time we got her to a vet within the day- the worst part is my mum is so hesitant to take her to the vet which i really can't understand. shes persistant that we have to just 'bathe the eye' which i keep telling her will not do anything.

i'm just wondering what she could've hurt her eye on, they have plastic hides in their cage but i felt around all the edges and none of them are sharp enough (it feels like) to do any serious damage to her eye?

Please have her seen by a vet as soon as possible; if you can, please don't wait until Monday and use a local 24 hour/out of hours service over the weekend. The eye is pretty much the same in all pets as is the usual eye medication (isathal for standard cases, chloramphenicol in bad ones).

Eye injuries can deteriorate very quickly and should be seen as promptly as you can.
