He popcorned when he saw me!

I am over the moon right now I had to go back to uni for a week to do exams, and so I left mum looking after Buddy, who is currently inside recovering from his neutering. I got back in at 9, gave him a cuddle, and as soon as I put him back he was popcorning like crazy!
Is it possible that he was happy to see me in particular? Or was he just happy to have company again?
He's now running laps around my room, jumping over my computer chair legs

He was happy to see you! My piggies do that when I come home in the evenings and they go crazy if Ive been away for a few days.
