I was wondering the same thing, this is asked because 1) a young/baby piggy may not have even seen a vegetable yet and 2) when they are put with an older piggy this teaches them what to eat as they copy the older piggy almost, and encourages them to come out and explore if they’ve got a buddy. How old is your piggie? You only mention one, is he living alone?
Totally true- when I adopted my 2 new fatties on friday night they didnt understand what hay was for. He will eat some herbs. But Still no fruits or veggies.Have you tried herbs like cilantro, parsley, basil, dandelions and etc?
My boy Finn will finish his herbs before he eats romaine lettuce and baby spring veggies.
Mine also likes apple but I only give small amount a couple of times a week.
My girl Lara eats everything, she grew up eating only hay and pallets and when she came to live with me, she started eating everything.

Why are you not allowed another one? Lone piggies can become depressed and it’s not natural for them to be on their own. Not a good situation- I’m presuming you with with parents at home? Please try and convince them it’s much better for him to have a friend. They are prey animals and need a buddy so they don’t feel scared or lonely.I'm not exactly sure how old he is.
