Head flicks

I have never thought to ask anyone before, but with all of the piggies i have and have had, when they are having cuddles, if i place my hand over their head to stroke them, about 50% of the time they will flick thier head up as if to say get off? It is quite a forceful flick.

Are they just playing and actually enjoy their head being stroked or is that their way of telling me to get off?
 
I've read that is their way to say Get off!
My Squeek likes to do it, but he also such a cuddly boy x)
 
it's usuallya get of i don't like it ty stroking with just a finger it my be because ** pressing too hard :)
 
Ok thank you, i need to get out of the habbit of doing it then, i always found it funny so i would do it a couple of times, usually if my lot don't like something they will make a run for it but they dont when they do this.

I rarely do it anyway but i did it last night and she flicked her head up, i wasn't using hardly any pressure, i just like had my hand cupped and stroked her fom her nose, over her head and all the way down her back, but as i got to her head she flicked it up.

I feel really guilty for the times i have done it now.

I'm sure you dont need to feel guilty :)
 
I'm of the opinion that they only do it when they are comfortable with you. Like a sibling will push the other and say; "Move up, you're sitting on top of me"
When my boy does it, I usually reply with "Hey, don't you push me away I luuuuurve you..."
