My sow Harriet has been doing these odd head movements for around 4 days now, like her ears are irritated, . I've had a good look and there doesn't seem to be anything in there causing the irritation, but it does look slightly wet, waxy and has a tad more heat than the other ear, she also dislikes it being touched but isn't bothered with the other ear. No smell coming from it and she doesn't have a head tilt, she's also not scratching it. The head movements are quick, like she is flicking her head up and down and side to side, it's not shaking, just a weird tilty flick movement.

It seems like an early ear infection to my knowledge, she is going to the vet on Monday as there's no chance I'm messing with her ears myself! Any advice for this? Is the head shaking common with an ear infection?

I would also like you guys to watch this video, this is Harriet doing these head movements, she does them most often when she needs to eat a poop (lovely...) but I don't know if she is having pain whilst pooping, or if this is her preparing herself, she looks unbalanced to me maybe due to the ear. Could even be a dental issue perhaps affecting the ear and her balance. She has also been regurgitating, it looks like she's vomiting but as Guinea Pig's can't vomit it's regurgitation, it has happened a few times in the last week. I'm not sure what's going on here.. Can anyone more knowledgeable give a possible explanation?

If you hadn't posted a problem with this video I would say it looked just like a nornal pig looking around. Her eyes seem fine and there's no tilt or flapping her head so I'm not sure. She doesn't seem bothered by it so I think she's fine to wait until Monday.

My Jon sometimes does the motions of vomiting. He has digestive issues and poor absorption. Some foods can affect him and it makes him do the motions of vomiting like a dog. Poor sausage. I try to stop him eating anything that causes it, like dill and tomato, but sometimes it happens when I can't work out why exactly.

Has she had any different food or treats?
