Head tilt/ear infection

I just bought a guinea pig and its neck is crooked the owner told me it had ear infection and it goes in circles a lot is that normal and what can I do to provide better care for him or her.

It sounds about right for an ear infection..you will need to see a vet to see if antibiotics will cure it. But if it has been left like it, maybe there could be permanent damage. I'm not too sure. This needs to be put it its own thread, you will get more help and we wont be taking over someone elses thread

Hi!

Please have your guinea pig vet checked. It is likely that either the inner ear has been destroyed if a vet has not been seen promptly for the ear infection or your piggy is blind. A permanent head tilt is not uncommon for either condition. Walking circles is somewhat more worrying.
What to check and look out for in new guinea pigs (vet checks, sexing, parasites&illness)

I don't know how to do other threads I'm not sure what that means and this guinea pig had the ear infection when it was a baby now it's a year old so it's way past of getting help on that situation I just wanted to check if anybody knew a little bit more information cuz it goes in circles a lot but thanks for helping me.

Only a vet will know if you can help him. I doubt it. But its worth a try. Dont worry only staff can move threads. I think
