So once again another problem with Chewbacca. Out of nowhere, his head is seemed to be tilted to his right. He seems alright, but I read up that it may be an ear infection. However both ears seem fine.

Ear infections aren't usually diagnosed by physical checks as you can't see a discharge. A vet will need to diagnose it for you.

How is his eating? Is he moving around okay still?

As just noticing it now, I took him out to look at him. He is moving around as normal, and I haven't checked his eating. I'll give him a piece of lettuce now.

I would take him to the vet tomorrow to get him checked out as head tilting is not normal and if he does have an infection it needs to be cleared up so Chewbacca is not in pain. Earache is not very nice.

Ok thanks you. Will do now!

Additionally, the other day his eye was sealed closed on his left eye. Before, he had crusty eyes, so will that be the reason? Itook a damp towel, and it cleared it up.... any ideas?

Please see a vet today! the closed eye might mean an eye injury or a respiratory infection (which may have travelled into the ear by now). Either always needs to be seen promptly. There are not necessarily any outward signs for an ear infection.

I was set to call up a vet today, but I just noticed it was gone! His head was back to normal, without any tilt...

In view of the crusty eye, I would still recommend to have your piggy checked in case there is an ongoing underlying respiratory tract infection (which can affect the ears and eyes). Untreated or undertreated infection can cause permanent damage; some can cause barely any typical symptoms and are easy to miss.

Please do get him checked out. While its more likely to be an ear infection or something along those lines, Brambles head tilt is on and off a lot. Due to the terrible condition her ears were in when we got her we put it down to that until we found her all but immobile going round in circles, she was diagnosed with a brain parasite called e.cuniculi. This also affects the eyes as it can cause nerve damage meaning they cant blink properly. This can lead to very painful ulcers without lubricating eye drops. We were lucky to be able to save Bramble, but I will always kick myself for not having the problem properly investigated sooner as it could have saved her eyesight, hearing and neurological damage.

Fingers crossed its something very simple and he will be fine :)
