So I usually do things with Daisy and Delilah first before the others just because they're on top so it's easier..but I sat feeding Shelly and Ivory treats to try to get them a little tamer and stroked Shelly on the head for a bit. Without really thinking I then put my hand in with Daisy and Delilah to give them their treats. They both gave my hand a really good sniff and a bit of a lick, then Delilah ate the treat I was holding. While she was doing that, Daisy shoved her head under my hand and Delilahs chin and lay really still under us, its honestly the calmest I've ever seen her!
It was similar to what Ivory does when she gets spooked, she dives under Shellys head for cover but Daisy wasn't spooked by the smell as far as I saw...so... what happened? :xd: I'm hoping I've not mucked up my chance of bonding those pairs, I just didn't think.. but they didn't seem upset, quite the opposite, but I've never seen them do that before and wondered if it was fear, dominance or what :/

I've had a look in the other threads but I've got a banging headache and can't really process what they're saying.

Usually pushing a piggy's head up means enforcing dominance, but she may have just sought contact or protection. It is near impossible to write an ultimate guide as so much is situational and has to be interpreted in the context. The interpretation also depends on the reaction of the other piggy.

You have definitely not scuppered any chances.

Phew thankyou! Poor thing is already bottom of the pecking order and tiny compared to the others (especially Shelly!) I'd hate to think I'd made her scared of Shellys scent before she's even had a chance to meet her
