PiggySmitten
Adult Guinea Pig
They were a rescued pair but not from an official rescue - just from a lady in Sheffield who had taken them in (along with their male siblings and another litter) when someone found them neglected and all living together. She'd been treating them for a bad fungal infection but you'd never know now to look at them (they had last little bits when we took them in). She hadn't named them so we got to choose!
The lady may not have been an official rescue but she clearly has friends who were rescues for other animals as she talked a lot about the RSPCA inspections. She'd also got about 30 rabbits (kept separately) - most of them taken on from an elderly lady who couldn't care for them any longer - and a pond full of fish that she'd had to sink the pond for in a hurry as some people nearby were moving and were proposing to abandon them. Truly devoted!
