Sadly Howard passed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. How is little Howard doing, anyone know?
Oh no, so sorry little Howard didn’t make it, sending hugs to you xSadly Howard passed over the rainbow bridge yesterday.![]()
So very sorry to read about Howard's passing.Apologies to everyone for not updating about Howard. I didn’t want to hijack @YvonneBlue ’s thread. Plus I wanted to wait until Helen @The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue had some quiet time and also until she had chosen to announce his passing.
I have no doubt that Helen will post a RB thread to him when she feels up to it. He was a huge and unique personality. His sudden loss has hit her and our little rescue very hard. But please rest assured that Heidi has had time to say goodbye to her husband and I’m giving her loads of cuddles until her Mum is back to collect her.
Hub is currently on the way to pick him up from Northampton.![]()
Hope Gethin starts feeling brighter soon.Gethin is feeling rather sorry for himself but he is eating. The lump was thankfully a fatty lump gone rogue and not cancerous, which is a real relief.
Here he is tucking into some grass this afternoon: Wiebke's Tribe
Oh poor Gethin, hope you feel better soon. Milo says keep up the sad face for as long as you can and your hooman will keep bringing tasty treats.Gethin is feeling rather sorry for himself but he is eating. The lump was thankfully a fatty lump gone rogue and not cancerous, which is a real relief.

Glad to hear the lump wasn't anything nasty. x
It was a huge relief that the lump wasn't a tumour!
I am not ready yet to face losing a fourth piggy in less than 2 months and my 8th piggy overall this year before I have digested the previous losses a bit more...
I really understand that. You've had an awful lot of loss recently in terms of cherished individual piggies and their collective passing as part of a highly significant era. You send so many other people hugs and well wishes in difficult circumstances, it seems only right to send some to you here.![]()
Just a quick update on Milo. He had his post-op check today and everything is healing well.
He and the other piggies are now on holiday with Paul and Keith (The Guinea Collected) for a couple of weeks. We hoomans are off to find some sun tomorrow.
Milo will be looking for a lady friend at the end of October.
