Poor Livvy Lou, found that she had a piece of hay stuck in her eyeball late last night ( outer bit, not the pupil which is what happened with Wally Whiskers) managed to get it out and took her to the vet first thing.
Thankfully she says it's a superficial abcess/ulcer ( which is it for eyes? Can't remember) and not too deep so she's had some metacam and has some Fucithalmic cream.
It should clear up in the next five days - please cross all fingers and toes for her. You may all remember the previous traumas we've been through with eye pokes - Wally Whiskers had to have his eye removed and the eye poke our darling Moonpig sustained was the straw that broke the camel's back for her ( she was coping so well with her palliative care up to that point). So I live in fear of them now. :(

Oh no, poor little girl, fingers and toes crossed for her. I have only ever had 1 hay poke which cleared up in a matter of days, but i appreciate with your experiences your more concerned.

x

Lots of healing vibes to Livvy-lou. Hope it clears up with the Fucithalmic. Give her a little cuddle for us

Thanks guys. She's got halloween eye now from the dye! Poor girl needs to look her best for her date on Sunday!

Oh of course, the date! She could turn it into a sob story to win Edward over? But i am sure she will be fine come Sunday xx

Hope she's ok. My Barney has done the same thing, we were told it was a corneal ulcer. He is having the Fucithalmic and pain relief too thoug he does a very good dying swan act.

Bless her. I hope she is feeling better soon. Only ever had 2 hay pokes and ulcers and the first healed up very well, the second unfortunately came when she was very poorly with something else but it was getting better before she passed
I know the halloween dye look all too well.

Big vibes! It is always worst when you come up against an issue you have had big problems or even lost a piggy to. It sounds like this one should hopefully heal quickly and without trouble.

Thanks guys, it's looking better already. Fingers firmly crossed. :)

She had her last dose last night and it was looking good. Relief! :laluot_01:
