Healing Vibes for Snowy, he starts Chemo today!

I just wanted to create this post for my very good friend Cgilchrist and her husband Marc. As I know she is not on much at the moment, and focusing on caring for their piggies.

Their little Snowy was indeed dianosed with Leukemia and yesterday they thought they nearly lost him due to fluid on the lungs, but he pulled through, and is still stuffing his face!

He starts Chemo today and wanted to generate as much positive thoughts and vibes for him as we can. To help keep him strong!

So thinking of you Snowy, and your loving Mum and Dad; Claire and Marc! Stay stong you three!

Hi guys thank you all so much and big thanks to Carma for doing this i am very touched. Snowy is still not breathing how we would like but is on frusomide to keep him clear. unfortunately we can't get chemo tabs til monday so doing our best to keep his chest clear and he is still eating very well but resting a lot too. will keep you posted xxxxx

I'm so sorry for your loss I really mean it. I lost Mala today to pneumonia and it was absolutely devastating. I'm 17 years old almost and I cried like a baby for 2 hours. Guinea pigs become a part of us over time and the fact that you'll never see them again is heartbreaking. Know that you did what you could and she doesn't have to suffer anymore, Mala was supposed to live 2-3 days after pneumonia but we pet and kissed her all the time and tried our best and we got another 4-5 days out of her. I know your feeling exactly right now. I hate losing piggies :(

Oh no, just caught up with this thread as I was reading down it... So sorry for your loss, you did everything you could for Snowy. Really really sorry.

Oh no I am so so sorry to hear this. You must be devastated. You did your best by him so you must remember that. It is lovely he spent his last moments with you.
 
Only just caught up with this thread. So very sorry to hear the sad news about Snowy. Rest in peace Snowy and popcorn over the bridge to play with all our other little darlings waiting for you there. x
 
I am so sorry to hear that Snowy hasn't made it; you have given him every chance - that is all you can do. It is always so heartbreaking when you lose a battle like that; and it will take some time until you have worked through all intense emotions of the last few weeks.

Totally agree with this. Sending hugs to you all at such a sad time, but you did everything you possibly could for your little guy.
 
I am so terribly sorry to hear about poor Snowy hun. He really couldn't of had a better life with anyone else.

You know where I am if either you or Marc need us! I feel so sad for you today my wonderful friend...

Rest well Snowy, you will always be loved.
