My poor Truffle had to go to the vet yesterday as he was squeaking when doing a wee 8... The vet said his bladder felt very hard? He had an anti-inflammatory injection & is now on baytril - poor little boy :(

All our love sent to poor truffle xx I hope he makes a quick recovery x

I'm sorry Truffle is feeling a bit rough, Suzanne, will keep my fingers crossed for him!

In no way am I trained hands-on yet, so don't take my word for it just yet (!), but I found that when Jasmine had cystitis her bladder felt a bit "leathery" as opposed to soft. I was assume this means it was inflamed!

Thanks Laura x
I thought that was what it would be too x

Sending love and reiki to Truffle...One of my Mums pigs has had this and was fine after some Baytril x

Sending lots of healing vibes for Truffles.
Get well soon darling x

The bladder can feel "hard" if there is urine retention and/or chronic inflammation has caused the wall of the bladder to become thickened.
Septrin is more effective than Baytril in treating a suspected bladder infection.
