Teenage Guinea Pig
My beloved Crunchie was rushed to the vets last night. I got home from work to find her hunched in a miserable ball, body swelled to twice it's size. It hurt when I picked her up and the vet confirmed my suspicions- the dreaded bloat.
She stayed in overnight (and I stayed awake, sitting by the phone and feeling sick) and I'll be calling for a check up in a couple of hours.
She's a special little girl- she and her sister Coco were my very first piggies 4 years ago and she has so much personality she makes me laugh every day- she's such a little spoilt princess and she knows it too.
Fingers crossed.
