Astro is not very well, it looks like he has teeth issues, incisors slanted and losing weight. He is booked into see Simon on Wednesday and looking to get some critical care from our local vet today. He is struggling to munch although he is having a go.

Lots of healing vibes to Astro, he is in the best of hands with you.

His weight has dropped over the last 2 weeks from 1360 to 1190 but he has just had two syringes critical care quite happily seeming to savour it. He is a "Little" . Just put him back in the cage and he has gone straight to the pellet bowl for a munch.

Well Astro munched on some grass last night and this morning. Had four syringes of critical care. He is trying so hard to munch his hay and veg, he still has his appetite but he is in obvious pain when trying to bite. Have got him on 0.1ml of metacam until wednesday and it seems to be taking the edge of the pain he has.

Poor boy. The appointment with Simon is Wednesday?

Yes at 10.20 and if he needs more treatment he will be staying with Debbie. Taking Star with us for company as he hasnt travelled on his own with us, and as he was rescued we dont want to worry him.

Poor little dude, Debbie will look after him matey. I can understand how worried you must be, he is a lovely piggie. Will keep everything crossed for him.

Just back from a long day taking Astro to see Simon (vet) at Northampton. His lower molars were restricting tongue movement. Now burred down but back in a fortnight for a follow up. Worst part was thirty minutes to get past junction 3 of the m6. It was good to pop in and see Debbie Postles.

All the best! Great that Simon could help Astro. It usually takes at least one follow up visit until the teeth are being ground down evenly again when eating. I hope that Astro will get his appetite back soon!

Well he scoffed a macdonald's from watford gap services on the way back. (Thats the side salad by the way)
You meanie, he could have had a McFlurry with sore teeth:)?
Really hope he can eat better after Simon's dental work - come on Astro
